When we purchased Belisana,
some TLC was needed to get her ready for cruising, but all-in-all she was in
good shape - structurally sound, good sails, decent (but old) engine,
clean interior. She had been a one-owner boat for 27 years and sailed
primarily off the coast of New England.
Here's a list of some of the work we have done or
are in the process of doing:
ON DECK
-
new bimini with dodger and enclosure
-
new sailcover
-
new running rigging
-
new lifelines with netting
-
2 125-watt solar panels (mounted on
stanchions)
GALLEY
ELECTRONICS
-
SSB radio with modem
-
new depth sounder
ENGINE
-
rebuilt alternator
-
replaced hoses
